What happens after you pay
You pick the package, pay on Stripe, then tell us about the business. No back-and-forth before checkout, and no surprises after.
The steps
1. You pay.Checkout is on Stripe’s page. We never see your card number. A confirmation email arrives with your order reference.
2. You send the brief. The thank-you page opens a short form. Answer what you can. Add links instead of paragraphs when it’s faster. One brief per item.
3. We check it’s complete. If something’s missing, we email you before we start. The clock starts when we have what we need.
4. We write the first draft.Derrick Wesson and our writers write and edit it. You get it by email or a link, as a document.
5. You send feedback, once.Put everything in one message. Mixed comments from three people in three emails make for a worse second draft.
6. We revise. Each package lists its rounds, one or two. A round is one consolidated set of feedback, sent within 14 days of delivery.
7. You get the final files.Copyright in the final copy passes to you when the order is paid in full. Drafts and unused ideas stay with us.
How the days are counted
- Counted from
- Every day count on the site is an estimate, in business days, counted from the complete brief, which comes after payment.
- Per item
- Each item has its own date. Two items in a cart means two timelines, not one combined total.
- Your time
- The time you take to answer a question or send feedback doesn’t count against us.
- No promised date
- We don’t promise a delivery date. If we’re running late, we’ll tell you before the date, not after.
The brief questions
After payment you’ll be asked these. Have a look now so you know what to dig out.
- Business name
- Website If there is one.
- Who is this for? The people you want reading it, in your words.
- What should this copy do? Book a call, sell a product, explain a service. One main thing.
- How you sound. Words you like, words you hate, anything you’ve been told “sounds like you.”
- Competitors or examples. Copy you admire or want to avoid, with links.
- Links to anything we should read. Old copy, product sheets, notes.
- Anything else we should know. Deadlines, things you can’t say, approvals you need.
Need it sooner? Need more?
Rush jobs, extra rounds and anything over the word cap are priced as a quote. Tell us the job and the date, and we’ll say what’s possible and what it costs, before you pay.
