Send seven emails over ten days.
This is the shape of a launch sequence. The subject lines are the part you’d see in your inbox, so we’ve started there. (Ten days is when they go out, not how long we take.)
Example subject lines for a made-up bike shop’s launch. Not a client’s.
- Day 1
The bike in your hallway.
Names the problem: it’s April and it hasn’t been touched.
- Day 2
What a tune-up covers (and what it doesn’t).
Sets the scope before anyone asks.
- Day 4
What a mechanic checks first.
Shows the work.
- Day 5
Questions about booking, answered.
Clears the doubts people won’t email about.
- Day 7
Spring slots open tomorrow.
Tells them when.
- Day 8
Open now: pick a slot.
One ask, one link.
- Day 10
Last call for this round.
Closes it honestly.
The launch sequence is $1,599 and holds seven emails, each with subject lines, plus a timing map and a short strategy note. Your dates will differ. We set them from your offer.

Hi {first_name},
Thanks for signing up. Quick introduction.
Kiln & Clay is a small pottery in a converted garage. Mara throws, glazes and fires everything herself, and every mug, bowl and planter goes through the same eleven steps before it gets a box and a handful of tissue paper. Nothing comes out of a factory. That’s why we usually have only a few dozen of any one piece.
It’s also why two mugs from the same batch never match. The glaze pools in a different place, a thumbprint lands somewhere new. We think that’s the point. If you wanted identical, there’s a shop for that.
Here’s what’s coming over the next week, so nothing surprises you:
- Thursday:
- how we glaze, and why the colors change in the kiln.
- Sunday:
- how to look after your pieces so they last.
- Tuesday:
- a thank-you, with a discount code you can actually use.
Until then, here’s what just came out of the kiln.
See this week’s pieces
One practical thing. If anything ever arrives chipped or cracked, reply to this email with a photo. A real person reads it, and we’ll sort it out.

P.S. Reply and tell us what you drink your coffee out of right now. We read every answer.
One email, or a whole run
Per email, the price doesn’t fall in a straight line: $199 for a single, $150 in a welcome run, $228 in a launch, $167 in the eighteen-email system. The launch costs more per email because it carries the timing map and a strategy note. Every email gets the same attention.

A note on sending
We write the emails. You send them, from your account, to your list, which makes you the sender under the law. Under CAN-SPAM that means a real mailing address in the footer, a working unsubscribe link, and honest subject lines. We’ll write honest ones. The rest sits with you and your email tool.
What we need from you
You’ll send these through the brief form after you pay. Nothing needs to go in before checkout.
- The offer, with price, dates and links.
- Who’s on the list and how they joined.
- Which email tool you use and when you’d like things to go out.
- One past email you were pleased with, and one you weren’t.
- Your sender name, and how formal or relaxed it should sound.
- Any promises, discounts or limits that have to be exact.
- Your mailing address and unsubscribe setup. You’re the sender, so these live with you.
What we leave alone
- Setting up your email tool.
- Building automations.
- Design and templates.
- Segmenting lists.
- Sending.
- If your sequence needs a landing page or an ad to go with it, those are separate packages on the website and brand pages.
Launching a page too? Landing or sales page.
